How to Use a Urine Test for Cocaine

Allow the test cup to come to room temperature (15–30°C).
Open the foil pouch and remove the test cup and donor gloves. Label the test cup with the donor’s details.
The donor should urinate directly into the cup, filling it between the 30 mL and 110 mL markers.
Seal the cup and return it to the collector.
The collector should wear gloves, peel back the results label, and interpret the test after 5 minutes.
Do not interpret results after 10 minutes.

How to Use a Saliva Test for Cocaine

Ensure the test kit and specimen are at room temperature (15–30°C).
Instruct the donor to avoid eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum for 10 minutes before testing.
Open the sealed pouch and unwrap the sponge and test cube.
Insert the sponge into the mouth and swab actively for 2–3 minutes until fully saturated.
Place the sponge into the test cube and screw it in to release the fluid.
Set the test cube on a level surface. Remove the peel-off label and wait for the sample to migrate through the test window.
If migration doesn’t begin after 3 minutes, gently rotate the cube 4–5 times.
Read results between 3–10 minutes. If all lines are visible by 3 minutes, you may interpret the test earlier.

If alcohol testing is included: Read the alcohol strip after 2 minutes and compare to the colour chart provided.
