Types of Methamphetamine Drug Testing Kits
We offer two primary types of methamphetamine testing kits tailored to various testing environments:
How to Use a Methamphetamine Urine Testing Kit
Important: Allow the test cup to reach room temperature (15-30°C) before use.
-
Open the foil pouch and remove the test cup. Label the device with the donor’s details.
-
Remove the lid. The donor urinates directly into the test cup, ensuring the specimen is between the 30mL–110mL fill marks.
-
Securely close the lid and return the cup to the collector.
-
The collector, wearing gloves, peels off the label to reveal the result window.
-
Read the results at 5 minutes. Do not interpret results after 10 minutes.
How to Use a Methamphetamine Saliva Testing Kit
Important: Ensure the donor has not eaten, drunk, smoked, or chewed gum/tobacco for at least 15 minutes prior to collection.
-
Remove the sponge collector and test cube from the pouch.
-
Insert the sponge into the mouth and swab inside the cheeks and tongue for 2–3 minutes until fully saturated (sponge should be soft with no hard spots).
-
Insert the saturated sponge into the test cube and screw it down to release oral fluid.
-
Place the test cup on a flat surface and peel back the label to start the test.
-
Wait for test lines to appear. If nothing shows after 3 minutes, rotate the cup 4–5 times.
-
Read the result between 3–10 minutes. If lines appear clearly at 3 minutes or earlier, the result is negative.
How Long Does It Take to Get Results?
What Affects Detection Time?
Several factors influence how long methamphetamine stays detectable in the body:
-
Metabolism – Faster metabolism = faster elimination.
-
Body Fat – Meth can be stored in fat cells, increasing retention time.
-
Age – Older users may process drugs more slowly.
-
Hydration – Dehydration can concentrate drugs in the urine.
-
Usage Frequency & Dosage – Higher and more frequent use extends detection.
-
Other Substances – Interactions with alcohol or medication can affect metabolism.
