Active & Passive Testing Modes

The Alcotest 7000 has the option for both active and passive testing modes. The passive mode uses a funnel attachment to quickly detect the presence of alcohol without direct contact. Once the presence of alcohol is detected, the active mode, using a mouthpiece, can be used to measure the precise BAC levels. This dual-functionality makes the device ideal for a wide range of testing environments and scenarios.

Hygiene Standards 

In the Alcotest 7000, for an added layer of safety, the built-in spacer creates a 90° angle between the testing technician and the donor and ensures that the lips of the donor come in redirect contact with the device. You can also use a mouthpiece with a non-return valve which blocks backflow and prevents the inhalation of exhaled air, so that the pathogens from previous donors are not reintroduced to the device during testing.

Rechargeable Battery 

To ensure a long life of the device, it uses a rechargeable, built-in Lithium battery, which has a long battery life and reduces the need for frequent replacement of the device.
